When Sunday Times Style Magazine came to see us

  1. Hi Josie, glad to have you back!
I walk past your old houseboat to work every day and when you were there it always cheered me up as it looked so jolly and Otter would sometimes bark hello! It's not the same since you left!
I hope your new home is just as fabulous and I look forward to seeing some posts about it soon! (I, too am a fan of rainbow paint makeovers - no furniture is safe!)

  2. Aaaah so lovely to hear a voice from our old neck of the woods. It was very sad to leave as both our children were born there. We left the bunting up so hopefully there's still a flash of the old colour.

Pics and news from our new Devonshire hunting lodge are on their way, just as soon as we've managed to unpack the cardboard box mountain

  3. I must admit The Island is looking beautiful in the sunshine and the bunting is still there! There are even some tiny little goslings and a rather strange giant duck!
Good luck with the cardboard box mountain, surely there is a game you can devise that involves making friends and family unpack them for you!

    Take care

  4. The mutant giant mallard - we always called him Phil Mitchell. Good point on the unpacking game - there's got to be one to be made up.
